Day 2 still homeless

Still at neighbors place.  FEMA guy cAmeE and left.  FEMA denied us,  and DNA loan denied  us.  So we will reapply again.   If you are on food stamps, wic, out of work. You get help right away.  Thinking of going bankrupt.  Anyway only people who helped was church volunteers.  Guess I will be homeless for awhile.  Prayers appreciated,   I have limited accessutopia Internet.   No one really wants to help.  Not even family.  We were in Tampa two days for my husbands check up.   Everything looked good.  I did read everyone;s comments.  Thank you.   R. Hood aka kathy

You were in Tampa? How close was your house? I heard the flooding was bad in areas of NC. You are in my prayers.

Hi Kathy, I feel horrible about this. I am shocked that you are getting no help. Bankruptcy seems to me your only option. Is your job OK?

I am letting my Xanga Friends know about your situation--many are prayer warriors.

Try to keep us informed.

i'm shocked that your own family won't lean a helping hands. I know that everyone have their won problems with money but little help goes a long way.

will pray for you.

I'm so so sorry. I've gone through 2 major, devistating floods in the past 5 years. FEMA didn't help the people that needed it much up here either. Would the Red Cross be willing to help? I know they've helped some people up here. Also, if you've applied for FEMA once, you can't apply for it again or you will be rejected. I found that out durring the flood that happened last year. Thankfully I wasn't effected other than ruining a pair of flip-flops.

Things have been so rough on you, I really hope they get better. If I had money, I'd send you all that I had.

Agencies said we make toouch money. I am still working. FEMA denied all my appeals. They gave me 500.00 for furniture. 500.00 for appliances, though I lost a household of furniture. Kat, R Hood
